We’re very pleased to announce that we’ve agreed a partnership with Innovate Recycle to source, sort, and segregate their required post-consumer end-of-life carpet. The UBH team will segregate the polypropylene tufted and action backed material required for Innovate’s Northampton process line, and then find alternative outlets for the other forms of carpet. The UBH service will increase Innovate’s efficiency and productivity, and enable them to focus on the production and sale of reclaimed polypropylene and calcium carbonate, and provide a much simpler method of supply for carpet material providers.       

We plan a series of collection and sorting ‘satellite’ centres around the UK in 2024, with a first opening in London in January. If you can provide a source of end-of-life carpet and are looking for a long-term recycling solution, please get in touch.

Other means of disposal of end-of-life carpet material are quickly reducing, UBH are therefore delighted to be working with Innovate Recycle in 2024, to further strengthen the delivery of the UK’s only true carpet recycling solution.
